I was honored when I was asked to host the 17th Annual CAST - the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking. After a series of events that lead me to find out trafficking was taking place in Vietnam within my very own circle of friends, it has since then become an issue I am passionate to fight. At the same time, whenever I meet celebrities that are also advocates for change, I become even more mega fans of them! Like Annalyne McCord and the beyond talented Chloe Flower who played a tribute song to the man of the night, Russell Simmons. (One of mai fave moments was when Russell not only thanked everyone who contributes to the cause, but also the people who made his Vegan plate. Priorities, people.) Also was so cool to announce that the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation partnered with CAST to invest in and educate our next generation of abolitionists. Man, if I could, I'd do things like this every night. It's the reason why I do what I do- to have a platform I can use to make a difference. What do you guys do to support a cause that’s close to your heart? I want to hear all about it!
