One undeniable thing about beauty trends is that they continuously go through cycles. Many trends come and go, but one trend can't be denied that it has stayed into beauty trends the longest. I am talking about the Old Hollywood Makeup trend that is so dearly loved by so many, with those bold eyes, luscious lips, and bouncy and full curls, this trend is definitely not going anywhere. This look was recreated with a more modern take, which is perfect for the modern working woman who is going straight from the office to happy hour.
Below are the products that I used to create this look!
Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips: This is step #1, and a step that you cannot forget if you have dry lips. Any Vaseline product works perfect, but this one has a little rosy tint that is perfect.
MAC Lip Pencil: This liner is creamy and easy to apply. Gently line the outside of your lips to create a natural and full lip.
Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick: I recently have gotten into these lip sticks because they are SO LONG LASTING. Like seriously, you will have to scrub your lips to get it off.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss: I apply this once my lipstick is dry on my lips. This will make your lips look glossy and healthy. (AKA kissable)
Urban Decay Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette: This palette is amazing for a natural look, or like how I used it as a base for the more shimmery colors. I would highly recommend investing in this palette.
Bobbi Brown Metallic Long-Wear Cream Eyeshadow: I gently dab this eyeshadow onto my lid for a more glam look since this is a old Hollywood look.
Nyx Cosmetics Matte Liquid Liner: To make my eyes pop, I always need a small bit of liner. I created a baby cat eye, and since this liner is so smooth, it made it so easy to create a fine line.
Benefit Cosmetics They're Real! Lengthening Mascara: Just like the name, this mascara crates long, beautiful, and natural looking lashes!
Eylure Luxe Faux Mink Gilded Lashes: To glam my lashes up a bit, I added these falsies. I use many brands, but this may just be one of my new favorites!
Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation: The best foundation to create a photoshopped looking face.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder: Another essential in my makeup collection! Worth the investment because it lasts forever!
Nars Blush: Its in the shade Orgasm... so I'm sure you can understand why I luv it so much. Hehe, JK, but for real it gives you the best glow.
Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Matte Bronzing Powder: I put this on my cheekbones!
Anastasia Beverly Hills 'Brow Wiz' Mechanical Brow Pencil: Just to fill in my brows a bit!
T3 - Whirl Convertible Styling Wand: This is the best wand to make loose and glamour waves!
R+Co Women's Dallas Thickening Spray: I spray this in my roots to add some extra volume.
