Dressing in monochrome has definitely been picking up in the fashion world lately and I ain't mad about it. First of all, dressing in monochrome can be a really easy way to make sure your outfits look sleek and polished. However, since monochrome consists of one or two toned neutral colors, it can look a bit boring if not styled right. Below are #MaiTips on styling a sleek monochromatic outfit in a fun and exciting way.
- Some may argue that this will make an outfit not monochromatic, but I looove to add a funky and fun colored shoe to break up the black and white. My Brian Atwood heels provide enough sass to my look and compliment my outfit well.
- Instead of pairing all black, or either all white, try out an outfit that mixes both together! I love the color blocking effect from my top and also my skirt because it gives this outfit more dimension. My Elliatt blouse also has a slight black design which helps the blouse flow easily into my Bless'ed Are the Meek skirt.
