A denim dress is like a denim skirt. It’s easy, classically cool, and perfect for spring weekends and travel. There are lots of different variations when it comes to denim dresses, some are tight, buttoned, short, long, slouchy… The list is endless, but there’s different ways of wearing each style and it couldn’t be easier! I love denim dresses because they can be easily dressed up and down, so today I am going to tell you #MaiTips on how I like to style a denim dress for the spring.
- An easy way to make a denim dress work appropriate would be to add a stylish blouse underneath the dress. This will cover up your arms and chest so that not too much skin is showing, and it will also give you that layered look that is so trendy right now. My blouse is from Topshop, and I love the subtle details on the sleeves.
- Another thing to keep in mind is the wash of the denim in terms of dressing up your dress or keeping it casual. A darker denim dress like mine from Topshop will always be an easier option to dress up, and a lighter denim dress like this one here will always be an easier option to dress down.
This whole look is shopable below! Let me know if you style a denim dress down in the comments. :)
